The DRC Government endorses ENI’s partnership with Surestream
Surestream finalised today the farmout of the Ndunda Block to ENI during a ceremony in Kinshasa hosted by his Excellence the Minister of Hydrocarbons in DRC.
Pierre Achach, Executive Director of Surestream said : “This ceremony is noteworthy because it establishes the alliance of Surestream Petroleum and ENI; the alliance of a company, certainly full of ambition for growth but still young, and one of the major oil companies in the world, and the first major in Africa. The fact that ENI has chosen to make its entry in Democratic Republic of the Congo in partnership with Surestream on the Ndunda permit is a new source of legitimate pride”.
Surestream Petroleum is an independent, UK-based, oil exploration company that was founded in September 2004 with the aim to build a balanced and diversified portfolio of African hydrocarbon assets. Surestream is a financially sound, private company that is currently held by a number of private and institutional investors. Our strategy is to acquire significant equity stakes in prospective developing areas in Africa where there are proven petroleum systems.
