Surestream Petroleum is an independent, UK-based, oil exploration company that was founded in September 2004 by the present management team with the aim to build a balanced and diversified portfolio of African hydrocarbon assets. This was to be achieved by leveraging the experience and network of the management and shareholders.

Surestream Petroleum is a financially sound, private company that is held by the founders and two investment companies. The management team’s proven ability to negotiate and close deals makes the Company a serious player in sub-Saharan Africa.

Surestream Petroleum currently has offices in Reading (UK), Paris (France), Dubai (UAE), Kinshasa and Muanda (DRC) and Bujumbura (Burundi). Our team has extensive experience in exploration operations both in onshore and offshore Africa.

The Company’s goal is to invest in developing the full potential of its acreage. To this end it has invested the major proportion of its raised finance in work programmes in 4 permits and has promoted new business development.
